Our Impact

We measure what matters. Not because donors require it but because the families we serve deserve to know that their experiences are being counted, documented, and acted upon. Every number below represents a child who was seen, a caregiver who was supported, and a community that was engaged

Strategic Partnerships

No organization tackles systemic problems alone. St. Matthew SBHSA is building partnerships with various organizations, institutions, and individuals to ensure every child with spina bifida and hydrocephalus in Uganda survives, thrives, and belongs. We are focusing on four partnership areas: 1. Clinical partnerships with hospitals and rehabilitation centers to create referral pathways for care beyond discharge. 2. Research and academic partnerships with universities to document and amplify insights from our community work, ensuring Uganda's SBH experiences are reflected in global research. 3. Faith community partnerships with churches and mosques to educate faith leaders who can reach families we can't directly. 4. Global SBH network partnerships with international organizations to connect Uganda's SBH community to global knowledge and advocacy.
